Most modern YubiKeys, including 5 series keys, support the FIDO2 WebAuthn protocol. If your key supports it, which you can determine using the [YubiKey Manager](https://www.yubico.com/support/download/yubikey-manager/){:target="\_blank"} application, we recommend setting your key up as a FIDO2 WebAuth device by following [these instructions]({{site.baseurl}}/article/setup-two-step-login-fido/#setup-fido2-webauthn).
